Brenda joined the Thomson, O'Neil & Co family in November 2020 having come from an 8 year role at a local South Taranaki Accounting firm. Brenda has come from 20 years experience in the banking industry working in various roles ranging from a small rural branch through to Corporate Banking & Project Finance in London.
Brenda's role as Office Manager is to supervise the day to day operations of the firm and staff encompassing a wide range of tasks that make the office run smoothly, including administrative duties, staff supervision and financial work. As Trust Account Administrator, the responsibilities include the daily/monthly reconciliation of transactions in the firm's Trust account, client investment monies and other core financial transactions.
Outside of work
After having recently hung up her netball shoes, Brenda can be found undertaking gentler forms of exercise by way of yoga, pilates, freeweight & core class, hiking on the mountain, reading, tugging endless weeds out of the garden and essentially running around after two teenage boys. Brenda also likes to spend time with friends and family.
